Dinesen Douglas Fir
Dinesen flooring is manufactured and distributed from Dinesen’s warehouse in Denmark. It is a family run company which was established in 1898 and is currently in it’s fourth generation. Dinesen create beautiful floors either in Dinesen Douglas Fir or in Dinesen Oak in different quality grades. Dinesen flooring can be finished in a variety of finishes but Dinesen Lye and Dinesen White Soap are most common alongside Dinesen Lye and Dinesen Oil. Dinesen flooring comes in various lengths, widths and thicknesses. In length they range from 2 metres up to 15 metres. In width they range between 15 centimetres and 50 centimetres. In thickness they range between 28 millimetres and 35 millimetres. Today having a Dinesen floor in a residential property is said to bump up the value of the house due to it’s exclusivity and value. Dinesen flooring can be found in the Saatchi Gallery in London where Dinesen also has an office.
Flooring Works: Deep Clean and Dinesen White Soap
This Dinesen Douglas Fir floor was going grey and shiny due to an incorrect cleaning regime. We cleaned the floor with a scrubber drier machine and Dinesen Natural Soap. This should only be carried out by a trained professional as this cleaning method can not only remove the Dinesen White Soap finish but also the Dinesen Lye. Once dry two coats of Dinesen White Soap were applied with the recommended and approved Dinesen applicator. To finish off we buffed the floor with a rotary buffing machine and white contractor pad to solidify the soap.
We have a wealth of experience sanding, finishing and maintaining Dinesen Douglas Fir and Dinesen Oak floors. We can recommend the appropriate finish for your situation. Once the initial work is completed, we will gladly advise or even show how to keep the floor looking like new.
Here is what our clients are saying:
Conrad and Don did a super job on our floor, getting it back to how it looked when we moved in, and they did the job really quickly too. We will use them again!
