Granwood Flooring Maintenance Chelmsford Essex
Before
After
Project Description: Deep clean, touch in worn lines and re-seal using Granguard solvent based polyurethane lacquer.
We were instructed to carry out a deep clean and re-seal as part of our maintenance offer. Using a Granwood approved polyurethane lacquer, Granguard, this sports hall floor came up a treat. Due to wear and tear the existing Granpaint lines had worn where sports equipment had been placed. The floor was thoroughly cleaned using our scrubber drier and an alkaline cleaner before neutralising the pH level with an acidic cleaner. The floor was then abraded using a mesh screen disc to provide the floor with a key. As Granwood is very porous and creates a lot of dust the floor was thoroughly vacuumed and tack mopped. Where the lines had worn away, we touched in using Granpaint. Once the paint was dry we applied two coats of Granguard.
