Wood Floor Maintenance – Osmo Polyx-Oil Finish
Project Description: Light abrade to remove old surface before re-applying Osmo Polyx-Oil
This beautiful oak floor in our client’s house was in need of a clean and re-application of Osmo Polyx-Oil. The floor was lightly abraded using our Nematic buffing machine and attached dust extraction unit. All corners and edges the buffing machine couldn’t reach were all down by hand. To make sure no dust got trapped in the finish we thoroughly vacuumed the floor. Using an Osmo roller we applied one coat of Osmo Polyx-Oil as per Oslo’s recommendations. The finish brings back the natural colour of the wood and keeps it water resistance due to the wax content.
“We are absolutely thrilled at how the solid wood flooring in our kitchen and utility room looked after you had sanded and oiled it. It came up a ‘real treat’ I was especially happy as there was no mess or dust to clear up after. A job well done, Conrad, and we would have no hesitation in recommending you to others. Thank you again for being so efficient and for a job very well done.”
